I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Written in 1902, by an American visitor to Ireland, the book is a time capsule mini history of Ireland's lovely north west. I found the Author's easy prose style to be very engaging. I found the book to be a page turner. However, in digitising the book the process seems to have randomly interlaced some of the index page text into the body text, which I found disconcerting. The aforementioned said, for lovers of social history, especially Irish social history this book is a little gem.Product details

Half the charm of this book is its photos. None in the reprint. 130+ pages squashed, trimmed and squeezed into 26 pages this "reprint" of only a part of the original is not worth the price.
Very enjoyable read but someone needs to format this properly if they're going to offer it for sale.
Interesting book about Ireland in the early days of the 20th century. For .99, it's worth it just to see the pictures of a distant Ireland.
